app.fee.market

Privacy policy

Covers the fee.market wallet app and this website (app.fee.market). Last updated 30 October 2026.

The short version

  • There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
  • Your keys and recovery phrase stay on your device. We never receive them and cannot recover them.
  • The app and website contain no advertising or product-analytics software. The only diagnostics are optional crash reports, described below.
  • To work, the app talks to blockchain nodes and a few public services. Those services can see your public wallet address and your IP address. The details are listed below.
  • Blockchain data is public and permanent. We cannot delete it.

What stays on your device

  • Wallet keys. Encrypted, with the encryption key held in your phone's secure storage (the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore), bound to this device.
  • PIN. Stored only as a salted hash, never in the clear. Repeated wrong attempts lock the app for longer each time.
  • Face ID / fingerprint. Handled by your phone's operating system. The app only receives a yes or no.
  • Camera. Used only to scan QR codes for addresses. Images are not saved or sent anywhere.
  • Local data. Cached balances and prices, your activity list, tokens you add, your preferences and downloaded token icons. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
  • Website. Your browser stores which sponsor you last selected and any metadata drafts you were editing, in local storage. Clearing site data removes them. The site sets no cookies of its own.

What leaves your device, and where it goes

Everything here is needed for a feature. None of it is used for advertising or sold.

WhoWhyWhat they can see
Blockchain RPC nodes (a public Polygon node by default; others for other networks)Balances, sending transactions, reading the registryYour public address, the data you ask about, your IP address. You can point the app at your own node in settings.
CoinGeckoToken pricesWhich tokens and currency you want prices for, and your IP address. Not your address.
The relay, then EtherscanTransaction history and sponsor usage (the relay holds the Etherscan key, so the app carries none)Your public address. The relay sees your IP address; Etherscan sees the relay's.
WalletConnect / Reown (relay and Verify)Connecting to apps you scan or open (only when you use it)Encrypted messages between the app and this wallet, your IP address, and the address of the app asking to connect (Verify checks it is genuine). Not your keys.
Apps you open in ExploreThe in-app browser loads the app's own websiteWhatever a website normally sees (your IP address). It sees your address only if you connect, and can only ask you to sign. Sites listed in Explore are run by others.
Trust Wallet assets (hosted on GitHub)Token iconsThe contract address of tokens you view, and your IP address.
IPFS gateway (Pinata by default) or a sponsor's own web addressReading a sponsor's published detailsWhich sponsor details you open, and your IP address.
The relay service and sponsors' nodesSponsored transactions, subscribing, health checksThe signed request you send: your address, your subscription and the transaction to run, which then becomes public on the blockchain. Your IP address is used for short-lived rate limiting. Sponsors are independent operators and may keep their own logs.
Crash reports (Sentry)Finding bugs and slowdowns, only in release builds that include a reporting keyDevice model, OS and app version, the error, performance timings and recent network requests, which may include your public address. Recovery phrases and private keys are removed before a report is sent.
Website: thirdwebConnecting a browser wallet to the siteConnection details of the wallet you choose to connect.
Website: our serversFetching and checking sponsor details and node status for youThe sponsor number you open. The sponsor's servers see our server, not your browser. Like any website, our host may keep standard request logs (IP address, time, page).

Blockchain data is public

Transactions, balances, subscriptions and sponsor details are recorded on the Polygon blockchain. Anyone can read them, they are linked to your public address, and nobody, including us, can edit or delete them. Do not use an address you want to keep private from your identity if it is linked to you elsewhere.

Your choices

  • Use your own blockchain node in the app's settings, so no public node sees your address.
  • Delete the app to remove everything stored on the device. Back up your recovery phrase first if you still want your funds.
  • Clear this site's data in your browser to remove its local storage.
  • Ask us a question about this policy with the contact below. We hold no account data about you, so there is nothing for us to export or erase; requests about a third party in the table above must go to that party.

Changes

If we change what the app or website collects or shares, we will update this page and its date before the change ships.
